Silvia utilizes vinyl covers and records from second-hand record stores to create her works. She employs an innovative technique by integrating tools and materials from graphic design, particularly using vinyl film commonly used in typographic design for lettering on storefronts, cars, and buildings. This technique skillfully merges with playful collages and unique compositions.
Several of her works have already been exhibited at prestigious locations in Zurich, such as Rote Fabrik, Basis Lager, X-tra Club, and the Record Fair at Volkshaus. Some images were created with the approval of Greg Gorman, the photographer known for his collaboration with David Bowie, based on his photographs.
